9	oz	Buttermilk or goat's milk
2	ts	Powdered benzoin
		Several drops of peppermint fragrance

Soften the basic soap over low heat. Gradually stir in the buttermilk or goat's milk. When the soap has melted completely, add the benzoin and just enough peppermint fragrance to impart a light fragrance. Without the added fragrance, this soap may have a slightly sour odor. Pour into molds.
